So you just got your brand-new electronic keyboard out of the box and can’t wait to plug it in and play? Great! But please take a few minutes to read over these simple rules to avoid some pitfalls that could otherwise give you some considerable headaches. Install your keyboard in a place with enough light so that reading music or adjusting controls won’t be a problem. Attach the music rest and place your music on it. Find a firm stool or chair. Your seat needs to be fairly high; use a cushion if necessary. Sit down facing the keyboard and read the instruction book; it tells you where the controls are and how to work them. Check the instructions and make sure everything is connected right. Make sure the batteries in your electronic piano are inserted correctly. Plug in the keyboard and switch on the power.
