How Do You Set Up An Easy Homeschooling File System?

Homeschooling can be a wonderful way to keep a family close, that is if you can reach each other over the piles of art projects and papers it can mean strewn around your home! Come find an easy, time sensitive way to make sense of all that paper! First step is to make a sweep through the house gathering up papers, outdated projects and other mementos of the year. The goal is that only 1 months papers will be in circulation at any one time. Next, put all of these papers of value in the bin. Sort the obvious wheat from the chaff of course but over all this is not the time for fine sorting or worry. Each month or as you move on to new topics move the old topic papers and projects into this bin. If you have an especially large family you will need more than one bin. As your school year comes to a close it will be time to open your bin and sit down with the kids to review what has accumulated over the course of the year. My children love this and we make it part of closing out of our school
