How Do You Set Up An Analog To Digital Converter With A Satellite Box?
A digital converter box enables older televisions to process the signals from newer transmission technologies, including satellite TV service. The converter box connects with coaxial cables between the receiver box for the satellite subscription service and the television, then serves as a pass-through component to send the satellite signals on to the TV after the converter box is programmed. The connections take only a couple of minutes. Connect a coaxial cable from the satellite receiver box to the RF or COAX “IN” jack on the converter box by turning the coupler on the end of the cable clockwise around the external threads of the jack on the converter box. Attach a second coaxial cable to the RF or COAX “OUT” jack, which is also located on the back of the converter box.
