A wired home network provides fast sharing of files, Internet access and printers. Unlike a wireless network, there is no signal being broadcast out of the home, so there is no way for neighbors or people outside the home to connect to the network. A typical home network will take around 30 minutes to one hour to setup. All of the needed equipment can be purchased from most electronics stores.
