How Do You Set Up A Starcraft Pop Up Camper?
The top of a pop-up camper lifts up to reveal a living space protected from the elements by canvas or other water-resistant material. Beds pull out of each end, usually, though smaller trailers may only have one bed. With practice, a camper can be set up in 15 minutes. It’s important to follow the steps in the right order to avoid damaging the lift mechanism. Step 1 Park the trailer on an even surface. Chock the wheels and then unhitch it from the tow vehicle. Step 2 Attach the stabilizing wheel to the tongue of the trailer. Use the crank above the wheel to level the trailer from front to back. Step 3 Step back and look at the trailer. If it’s not level, use the crank to raise or lower the front. You can also use a small carpenter’s level, set on top of the trailer, to check. Step 4 Set the jacks.
