How Do You Set Up A Lemonade Stand?
If life has handed you lemons, make lemonade. Here are a few tips if you–or a young colleague–want to go into the citrus-hawking business and hope to turn a sweet profit as a result. Step 1 Set up your stand at the foot of your driveway if you get lots of people walking and driving by. Or go into business with a friend who lives in a better location. Step 2 Determine when the busiest times of day or weekend are–those are the times when you’ll sell the most lemonade. Step 3 Set up your stand. Make a large sign that includes the price. Have plenty of disposable cups on hand. If you’re going to be out there for a while, bringing along a cooler filled with ice is a smart move, too. Step 4 Buy lemons and granulated sugar and make your lemonade. In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, granulated sugar and cold water; stir briskly to dissolve. Add ice cubes.
