The Sony PlayStation 3 home video game console features online network functionality through the PlayStation network. Downloadable games, demos, add-on content, videos and other types of media content are available for download from the PlayStation Store. Content offered through the store varies based on region, with different games and demos based on each PlayStation Store’s country of origin. PS3 owners in the United States can create an additional account authorized to access stores in other regions such as Japan. Due to language barriers, creating an international account requires an understanding of what each stage requires in order to successfully complete the process.
