Get the Flex 2 SDK • Go to the Adobe Flex 2 SDK download page. • Log in, or sign up for an ‘account’ if you don’t have one. You can’t download it without the account. • Download the ‘Flex SDK’. Get the Flex 2 SDK Documentation. • Go to the Flex 2 SDK Documentation page. • Download the ‘Documentation ZIP file’ at the bottom of the list. Get JEdit • Go to the JEdit main page. • Download a JEdit installer/package for your operating system Install JEdit. • Follow the prompts and instructions. Install ‘Flex SDK’. • Make a folder somewhere, like ‘C:\Flex’ and unzip/extract all the files in your ‘flex_sdk_2.zip’ to it. • Make another folder in the same place and and unzip/extract all the files in ‘flex201_documentation.zip’ to it. • Make a shortcut to your (wherever you put it)\flex201_documentation\langref\index.html on the desktop.
