How Do You Set Up A Dish HD DVR Receiver?
In just a few steps, you can install your own High Definition (HD) Digital Video Recorder (DVR) receivers. These instructions are specific to equipment leased or purchased directly from the satellite TV provider Dish Network, and will not apply to any other company’s receiver. The following steps do not include information for mounting a satellite dish antenna or running cables throughout your home. For more specific help regarding initial HD equipment installations, contact a Dish Network technical representative at 800-344-3474. Assess your available connections. Coming from your wall plate should be one coaxial cable, which is then connected to a splitter. The splitter will have two RG6 coaxial cables available for connection.
