The following steps do not include information for mounting a satellite dish antenna or running cables throughout your home. For more specific help regarding initial HD equipment installations, contact a Dish Network technical representative at 800-344-3474. Assess your available connections. Coming from your wall plate should be one coaxial cable, which is then connected to a splitter. The splitter will have two RG6 coaxial cables available for connection.
