How Do You Set The Night Light On A Whirlpool Refrigerator?
Many models of Whirlpool refrigerators feature an ice and water dispenser on the door of the refrigerator. The dispensers have LED lights above the dispenser arms, which light up the dispensing area, making it easier to see the control knobs and prevent spills. In addition to having the lights stay on or off, Whirlpool designed a Night Light feature. When activated, a light sensor judges the amount of light in the room and adjusts the brightness of the LED lights accordingly. Press the “Light” button on the dispenser control panel once to turn the light on at all times. Set the refrigerator to “Night Light” mode by pressing the light button a second time. The room light sensor will measure the amount of light in the room and brighten or dim the dispenser light as needed. Push the “Light” button a third time to turn the dispenser light off.
