Dish Network satellite receivers come with a remote control that is usually pre-programmed by a Dish Network technician when your satellite service was initially installed. However, your remote ID can get mixed up with a neighbor’s Dish Network DVR. Although your remote still works with your DVR, the signal can become intermittent and unreliable. If this happened to you, you’ll need to reset the Dish Network remote ID on the Dish Network DVR to ensure that your signals do not remained mixed up.
