A Genie garage door allows you to program a new controller with the press of a button, so you can add several garage door openers in a short amount of time if you need to. When you properly program Genie controllers, you can open and close the garage door with the push of a button. Stand on a ladder to access your Genie garage door opener installed on the ceiling of your garage. Press the “Learn” button, located on the left side of the “Power Head.” Watch the “Learn Indicator Light” next to the “Learn” button. It will blink two times per second to let you know it’s ready.
