You can set the blink rate of the red dot on your telescope to suit your preferences. Just follow these steps and the task will be accomplished in no time! Choose the Finder Set menu. Press and hold the Mode key for two seconds. You will see the Dec. and R.A. coordinates on the display. Press the scroll down key until you reach the section titled “Finder Set:Set.” Press “Enter” and you will see “Finder Set: Intensity.” Press the scroll down key one time and you will see “Finder: Blink On” on the display. Press “Enter.” You will now see an amount of time on the display, shown in seconds. This time represents the amount of time that the red dot will blink on. You can now use the arrow and number keys to change the blink rate. Press “Enter.” Press the scroll down key one time. You will see “Finder: Blink Off” on the display. Select “Enter.” You can now enter the amount of time the red dot will stay off using the arrow keys.
