How Do You Set A Default Web Page?
You know that website you visit more than all the others? You probably want to set it as the default page that comes up when you open your browser, or your home page. Here’s how. First, find out what browser you’re using. If you aren’t sure, you are probably using Internet Explorer, which comes with Windows, or Safari, which comes with Mac OS X. Navigate to the site you’d like to set as your home page. Go to the options section of your browser. On Windows, you’ll usually find this in the tools or edit menu. On Mac OS X, it’s always located in the program name menu next to the Apple icon at the top left. Find the section that deals with the home page. On Internet Explorer, it’s in the general tab, and should be right in front of you. To set the home page, click “use current.” On Firefox, it’s in the main tab. To set the home page, click “use current page.” On Safari, it’s also in the general tab. To set the home page, click “set to current page.” On Chrome, it’s in the basics tab.
