Sign up for the efax service with SBC Global and you will receive a fax number. It may be included in your service already if you signed up for a package. There is a nominal monthly fee. Scan a hard copy of the document you want to fax. Save it as a PDF, JPEG, TIF or BMP. If you already have the document in a digital format with one of these file extensions then you are set. Log in to your SBC Global email account. Click “New” to make a new message. Enter the fax number in the email address section of the Compose Message window.
