How Do You Send Large Picture Files Through Email?
When you need to send large picture files through email, you must make the picture files small enough to enable sending and receiving. Because many email servers have a limited amount of space for sending and receiving attachments, a large picture file may be too large to send or receive. A popular solution for sending large files through email is to compress the files prior to sending them. Unfortunately, you cannot use a compression utility to compress JPEG image files because these files are already compressed. Send large picture files through email by compressing them with Microsoft Office Picture Manager or Pando. Open the Microsoft Office Picture Manager program. Click “File” and then “Add Picture Shortcut” to find the picture you wish to compress and email. Navigate to the location where you store the picture, highlight it and then click “Add.” Highlight the thumbnail of the picture you wish to compress by clicking it with your mouse.
