How Do You Send Cookies In The Mail?
Homemade cookies are a great treasure for anyone to receive, from a college student away from home for the first time to a solider our country serving far from home. Decorated and filled cookies are not ideal for shipping, however, moist bar cookies should ship just fine. With some simple tips on shipping, you too can send cookies in the mail to your loved ones far away. Bake your cookies. Allow them to cool before wrapping. Wrap the cookies tightly in aluminum foil. You do not need to wrap each cookie individually, however, if you are shipping more than one type of cookie, wrap each type separately. Place the wrapped cookies in a cookie tin or plastic container for extra protection. Wrap the cookie container (either aluminum foil or tin) with bubble wrap to keep it from moving in the shipping box. Place the bubble wrapped cookie container in the shipping box and secure the box closed with packing tape. Address the box and take it to the post office for shipping.
