After spending about four months reading chapter after chapter of a textbook, it’s time to decide whether to add this textbook to your book collection or to sell it back to a college bookstore. It is not likely that a student will get a full refund on their textbook, but it never hurts to have a little money in the bank. It’s important to properly care for your textbooks throughout the semester. Avoid water damage, tears and creases. Bookstores pay more for books that look as if they’ve never been used. Keep CDs and other resource materials that came with the textbook. You may not be able to sell your book back if you do not include all of the items.
