Then came a second batch… and a third… and before I knew it, I had more bars than I could possibly use in a year. (It was the same with candles, though not quite as dramatic a rise!) So I started giving soap to my friends and family. Until even they had enough soap to last them a year…and I still had bars left over. What to do? Well…sell it of course. I think most crafters consider selling their soap and/or candles at some time or other…and many of them enter the market by selling at Craft Fairs and Shows. There are a few things you can do to make your craft show experience both more enjoyable and more profitable, like knowing your show, and starting out small.
