Most of the time classic cars are not sold as parts. They are sold on the assumption that someone wants to restore them. But if the classic car being sold is in bad shape and not restorable, it can become a wealth of parts to someone who has the same kind of classic car. If the classic car being sold has the proper parts needed, those parts can be sold for a premium price. You just have to know where to advertise them. Determine how you want to sell the classic car. You can sell it as the whole car, or you can offer to part it out piece by piece. There are advantages and disadvantages to both options. Selling the entire classic car will get rid of it faster, but selling it piece by piece to several buyers may yield a higher profit. Place an ad in a classic car magazine. List the make, model and year of the car, and the condition of the body and engine. State the terms of how you want to sell the car. Offering to sell parts off of it will gain interest as well as offering the entire car
