Sandblaster nozzles are generally made of steel, ceramic or Carbide (Boron or Tungsten) and as can be expected, there are advantages and disadvantages associated with all three. First, remember that the nozzle is a consumable item and how often you will have to replace it depends on the material the nozzle is made from. The Boron Carbide have the longest life and cost the most. Ceramic is next in useful life.
