How Do You See Wildlife In Everglades National Park?
A designated World Heritage site, Everglades National Park hosts many species of wildlife, including rare species like the Florida panther and the American crocodile. From the tiniest grass frog to the larger reptiles, wildlife fills the subtropical wilderness. Adults and kids like will love sighting deer, brown pelicans, ospreys, dolphins and alligators. Find dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, corals and sharks in Florida Bay. Seagrass here shelters fish and provides food for others. Look for the American crocodile in mangrove swamps. Many other forms of wildlife also roam the swamps including alligators, bears and swamp rats. The tidal areas in the swamps mix fresh and salt water, providing habitat for a diverse group of animals, reptiles and birds. Keep an eye out for alligators in the marl prairies.
