How do you see the relation between Prishtina and Belgrade for the next years?
As far as we are concerned we would be willing to work with Serbia on many issues of mutual concern and interest. Unfortunately, as you might have heard these last days, Serbia has been blocking our exports. We have not applied reciprocal measures and we do not intend to do so in near future. Belgrade is not willing to work with us. Belgrade is rejecting even considering some of our ideas. We suggested a sort of treaty for cooperation and friendship with a call to establish joint committees for several issues, but Belgrade is going in the other direction. They have been trying to block Kosovo at every instance, even to prevent Kosovo from participating in regional cooperation initiatives. Belgrade has also been supporting very harmful parallel structures in North of Kosovo, even some criminal groups, smugglers of all sorts, and all that is causing damage to our economy and to our budget.
