Kansas City Missouri is my home town. If you ever find yourself wanting to tour Kansas City or need to spend a few hours or days here, just follow these few steps to see some of the interesting sites. The beautiful Kansas City Plaza is undoubtedly one of Kansas City’s top attractions. The architecture, sculptures and fountains are outstanding. It was built in the 1920’s by J.C. Nichols Co. and was the first outdoor mall of its kind. Outstanding stores, restaurants and street entertainment will keep anyone busy for hours. Kansas City’s City Market area is a wonderful area for shopping and watching people. Weekends are the busiest. You can spend hours stroll up and down the produce stalls, ride ponies and vist the Steamboat Arabia. Another enjoyable landmark is the Starlight Theater. Broadway shows are booked all summer.
