How Do You Secure A Pool Cover?
An improperly covered pool might allow leaves or other debris to get into your pool, or allow animals and insects to contaminate it. Worse, a child or pet could fall into a pool that isn’t secured. Keep your pool clean and safe with a properly sized and secure cover. Measure your pool, since you’ll need a cover big enough to enclose the entire surface area. If you have an oddly-shaped pool, you might opt for a customized cover, such as those made by Anchor Industries (see Resources below). The cover should be a few feet larger than the pool on all sides. Buy a cover made out of a study material, such as vinyl, particularly if you want the cover to last a long time or if you have children who play in the yard unsupervised.
