The Xanga weblog community is not just about sharing ideas through words. Xanga allows its users to post multiple images to their blogs and store them as part of their profiles. You can see what Xangans are interested in by searching photos on Xanga. Visit the Xanga homepage and click on the ‘Photos’ tab (see Resources below). You will be taken to the homepage for photos on Xanga. Sort photos by different categories. You have the option of seeing all the photos posted to Xanga in order of most recent, most viewed, most discussed or most boosted. Select the corresponding tab to re-sort photos on Xanga. Come up with keywords such as ‘dog’ or ‘shoe’ to find all the images tagged with those terms. You can perform a more complex search using a phrase such as ‘show dogs’ or ‘high heel shoes’ to narrow your results.
