How Do You Seal A Termite Treatment Hole?
Termites are pests that destroy wood structures and wreak havoc around the world. Termite treatment includes drilling several holes into the foundation of your home so terminate-killing chemicals can be injected into those holes. Chemicals are also injected around your house into a trench cut close to your home. Sealing termite treatment holes will keep moisture, insects and other substances from entering your home’s foundation. To seal those holes, you need a caulking gun and caulk. Scrub the outside of the termite-treatment hole and the area around it with a wire brush to remove any loose dirt, dust and debris. Wear rubber gloves to protect your hands. Cut the tip off a tube of masonry caulk. Place the tube of masonry caulk into a caulking gun. Squeeze caulk into the termite-treatment hole until the caulk starts to come out of the hole. Smooth out excess caulk coming from the hole onto the foundation with a putty knife.
