How Do You Screw Off The Bezels On Nixon Watches?

The bezel is a common component on every watch. With a twist and a push, you can remove the bezels from a Nixon watch to clean the watch case or to alter the “ticking” sound that accompanies the bezel. Lay the watch on a flat surface that has a contrasting color from the watch. Slip the screwdriver underneath the bezel, which is the round raised ring on the front of the watch. If you are using a watchmaker’s knife, place scotch tape of the sides of the watch to prevent metal scratches. Push the bezel up with the screwdriver at the 3, 6 and 9 locations on the watch. Turn the bezel counter-clockwise with your thumb and index finger while the screwdriver is still underneath and pull it off. Locate the flat metal washer in the watch grooves once the bezel is removed. By bending the metal washer downward,
