How Do You Scan Slides Using A Canon Scanner And Adobe Photoshop?
To scan Slide-film (reversal film, mounted in plastic or cardboard sleeves for projection, basically a “Positive Negative”) using Adobe Photoshop, you need a scanner with negative scanning capability. The scanner used in this explanation is a CanoScan® LiDE 80. Open Adobe Photoshop, and go to File, Import, and select the name of your scanner. Line up the removable Film Scanning devise on the left-hand side of the scanner bed. Carefully place your Slide in the Film Guide, making note of which number on the Guide the Slide lines up with.
