I managed to get my hands on a used HP LaserJet 3300 Multifunction printer. I also have stacks of training manuals from my years of working in IT (Information Technology). The training manuals are pretty useless because I have to spend time paging through them and I can’t search them like I can search online help. One of the other problems is that they take up a lot of space on my shelves. The solution was to scan them and store them electronically on my PC. Most of my manuals are double sided, but the scanner only scans one side at a time. I spent plenty of time looking for software to merge the front and back sides of the scanned pages. I also manually merged them, which was error prone and time consuming. Little did I know, there was a simple way to do this in Microsoft Office Document Imaging.
