How Do You Say No Without Feeling Guilty?
Sometimes when you say “no” to something that someone wants you to do, they’ll make you feel guilty. Maybe they think that they will be able to change your mind if you feel guilty enough. Sometimes you say “no” just because you don’t want to do whatever it is, or because you don’t feel comfortable. If you feel uncomfortable, don’t compromise for someone else. • First, you have to realize that you can’t please everyone. Sometimes you just have to walk away and know that you did the right thing for you. • Explain your reasons for saying “no” in the first place.
