How Do You Save Waypoints From Garmin GPS?
Garmin GPS units use waypoints to help users map directions from one point to another. The waypoints are most useful when it is an area that is traveled to regularly, such as your home. To help you remember each waypoint, Garmin GPS units allow users to rename the waypoints. Improve navigation with your GPS by creating and saving waypoints of often-used locations. Press and hold the “Power” button until the unit turns on. The Garmin GPS will connect to several satellites and the “Position Page” will appear on the screen, which is a map showing your current position. Create a waypoint by pressing the “Mark” button.
