You can still use Zip drives with your computers and it is still possible to back up content using an Iomega Zip 100 disk. If you don’t currently own an Iomega drive, you can purchase one from the Iomega online store. Connect the Iomega Zip drive to the computer. A USB cable plugs into the rear of the device and connects to any available USB port on the system. Insert the driver installation CD and follow the brief set of prompts once the driver installation wizard loads. Insert a Zip disk into the drive after the installation has finished. Open the program you want to save a document too. Click “File” followed by “Save.” In the Save window the Iomega Zip drive now appears.
