How Do You Save Money With A No-Cost Home Energy Conservation Checklist?
Energy conservation investments are typically rated in terms of their “pay back periods,” that is, the amount of time required to recoup your initial cost. All the following checklist items cost NOTHING – and are as easy as picking up money! Many of the items on the list can be completed in a single day while others require simple changes in behavior. Many of these items have a small impact on their own, but taken together, this list can make a significant dent in your energy utility bills. HEATING & COOLING –Lower your themostat as much as is tolerable down to 50 degrees Farenheit during the winter, saving about 3% per degree.
