Weddings can me a stressful and expensive time for most couples. Especially in the current economy, many people are looking for ways to save a few pennies. I would like to share some of my tips that I have found successful throughout my wedding process. Set your budget. Sit down with your fiance and his/her family, as well as your own family. Figure out what is realistic for you to spend and how you will cover all of your expenses. Do not put any wedding expenses on a credit card. You will not be able to pay these off as quickly as you hope. Prioritize all of your expenses from most important to least. For instance, we decided that ceremony location, reception site, food/beverages, and photography were the most important to us. Sit down with your vendors face to face and work our a fair price.
