How do you save money in a struggling economy?

In these hard times most people are doing whatever it takes to save some money. In this article i will give you some ideas that i have found useful in saving a dollar or two on groceries, clothes, even gas. The first step is an easy one yet most people never think of doing it. Instead of throwing away lotion bottles when you think they are empty, cut them in half, you will be surprised to see how much lotion is still left in the bottle. And to think you would have thrown it away. What a waste. Dilute things. Hand soap, detergent, juice. Just about anything made with water can be diluted. Try taking an 8 oz. bottle of hand soap and pouring half of it into a different bottle, then add 4 oz. of water to each bottle. You just got 2 bottles of hand soap but only really paid for one. CUT COUPONS!! When i first started cutting coupons i didn’t really think i could save that much money, a dollar here fifty cents there, well all that change can really add up after time. I went from spending $50
