How Do You Save Money By Setting Up A Grocery Schedule?

0

I’ve found that I can save a LOT more money by sticking to a grocery budget. By setting up a schedule rather than shopping haphazardly, I have been able to really whittle down my weekly food expenditures. Look through your weekly ads and note what’s on sale. Go through your favorite cookbooks and choose recipes according to the items that are on sale. Check your stock of coupons and pull out those that are for the items on your list. Plan your WEEKLY shopping. You should make a habit of buying your basics WEEKLY and replenishing them BEFORE you need them. That way you can take advantage of the sales. Your Daily shopping is for items that must be bought FRESH such as fruit and vegetables from the farm stand or fish from the fish market. Purchase your BULK items like seasonings, condiments and paper goods MONTHLY. I shop at warehouse stores for these items as they are usually more cost effective and I don’t buy items that might spoil if they aren’t used up.
