How Do You Save Games To An Xbox 360 Hard Drive?
The Xbox 360 system allows you to save your games to your hard drive. In some cases, this can improve game play because the console no longer has to read the disc. It also cuts down on “disc-grinding” noises and increases the speed of your system. The process of saving your game to your hard disk is simple, but be aware that there is limited room on your hard drive. You will eventually have to delete some games if you need more space. Make sure your hard drive is properly attached to the top of the Xbox 360 console. It should be seated firmly in the hard drive slot on top of the console. Turn on the console and connect a controller, if necessary. Open the disc tray, insert a game disc, and close the tray. Navigate to “My Xbox” on the Dashboard screen. The game disc will appear on the first card. Do not select the disc. Instead, press the “Y” button on the controller. A Game Details option will open. Choose the “Install to Hard Drive” option. This will save the game on your hard drive.
