One of the best features of a computer is that of the integrated media player. However, from time to time you will happen across audio files that are incompatible with your media player(s). However, there are ways of converting these audio files to the proper format. For example, if you are burning a CD and the audio files are all in the .wav format, they may not all fit on the CD. However, if you were to use a program to convert them to the smaller sized .MP3 format, they will most assuredly fit. Open the application. You will need to left-click on the application icon in order to open the program (see Resources below if you need to download WavePad). Load the audio file. To open an audio file in WavePad, scroll to the “File” tab on the command bar; a submenu will open. Select “Load Audio Clip or CD” and left-click to browse to the desired file, then click “Okay” to open it in the program. Save the audio file to the desired format.
