How Do You Salvage Pet Food Swarmed With Ants?
When food is eaten that has live ants in it, some ants may bite the tongue and hang on like a tick. Pour water into the ant infested bowl of food. This will drown the ants. Pour the water out and serve the food to your pet. You may need to use your fingers or a strainer to keep from losing food out of the bowl, as you pour the water out. When ants have moved into a bag of pet food, pour the entire contents into a different container and move it to a different location.
