Cleaning lipstick stains out of your new living room carpet can be stressfully if you don’t do it properly. Cleaning lipstick can be hard if you use the wrong cleaner, most wont cut through the greasy residue of the lipstick. These simple steps will quickly and easily remove the lipstick from your carpet. Spread the rubbing alcohol evenly over the area of the carpet with the lipstick stain. Let the alcohol soak for about two minutes. Gently dab up the alcohol with your first rag. Continue dabbing with the rag, take care not to wipe the lipstick as it will smear. Rinse the spot thoroughly with warm water after you have finished with blotting the stain until no more comes out. Rinse all the alcohol out if possible and pat dry what you can with a towel. If the stain has been fully removed at the end of this process stand a fan next to the area so it will dry. Depending on the thickness of your carpet, air- drying it may cause mildew or a bad odor.
