How Do You Saddle Up A Horse?
This is a good and easy way put a saddle onto any horse or pony. There is not really a difference between tacking up a horse and tacking up a pony. The only difference is that if you have a pony, you may need to bend down to fix the girth. It is the same for horses as it is for ponies. Now, you may need to know the different parts of the saddle. • Set the actual blanket down on the horses back, on the back of the withers (a little hump at the end of the mane). • Set the second blanket (the one that looks more like a pad) on top of the other blanket. • At this point, you should have two blankets on top of each other. Pretend that there is a line going straight down the middle of the blankets.
