How Do You Run The Symantec Autofix Tool?
Famous for its work on the Norton AntiVirus program, Symantec is the developer of many other useful computer tools. Some examples of these tools include PC Jump Start Service, Norton Utilities and Expert Installation Service. Symantec also developed a handy AutoFix Tool that allows any computer user to automatically resolve any common problem on his computer. To use the tool, your computer must meet certain minimum requirements. Follow the minimum requirements to run the AutoFix Tool. According to Symantec, you must be using Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, you must allow JavaScript and ActiveX, you must have Windows 98 or later, and your computer must have at least 32 megabytes of RAM and a 250-MB processor. Visit the AutoFix Tool Web page (see Resources). Choose the kind of problems you need fixed. Click “Next.” The tool will determine what your problem is. Follow the instructions provided. When it detects a problem, it will offer you a way to resolve it.
