How Do You Run System Restore In Windows XP?
Included in most modern versions of the Windows operating system, the System Restore utility can be an invaluable tool if your computer experiences hardware or software problems. System Restore allows you to quickly roll back the core components of the operating system—including drivers, services, system files and programs—to a previous, fully functional configuration. Documents, images, emails and other personal files are not included in this collection. Once you know where to look, restoring your system to an earlier configuration becomes a very quick task using Windows XP. Click the Windows “Start” button and open the following: “All Programs” > “Accessories” > “System Tools” > “System Restore.” Select “Restore my computer to an earlier time” and click “Next.” Click a date listed in bold on the calendar on the left side of the window.
