How Do You Run Sierra Home Architect On Vista?
Sierra Home Architect is an older building design program that was intended to function under earlier editions of Windows, such as XP, ME, 2000 and 98. While you might assume that this program cannot be run under newer OSs like Windows Vista, it is possible to do so using the built-in compatibility mode included with your operating system. This will convince Sierra Home Architect that it is running under the OS for which it was originally designed. Open the “Start” menu, open the “All Programs” list, and locate the folder for Sierra Home Architect. Right-click on the executable file for the program (the file you would click to start Sierra Home Architect) and select “Properties.” Click on the “Compatibility” tab and check off the box stating “Run this program in compatibility mode.” Select the version of Windows for which the program was originally designed from the drop-down menu, depending on the version of Home Architect that you are trying to run.
