How Do You Run A System Restore On A Dell Computer?
Many computers now offer a feature called System Restore, which allows you to back up your system state at any given point. Certain events on your computer will automatically create restore points. Software installations are the main triggers for new system-restore points. Once a restore point is set, you can restore you system to that point in time. The only things that are unaffected by a restore are documents and files unrelated to software installs. Here’s how the process works on a Dell computer. Close all open programs and save all files. Go to “Start,” “All Programs,” “Accessories,” “System Tools” and finally “System Restore.” Select “Restore my computer to an earlier time” and click “Next.” Choose a date from the calendar at the left of the screen. Bold dates are restore points. Review data about the restore point on the right side of the screen to choose the correct date. Click “Next” twice to begin the restore. Your computer will restart during the process. Review the screen
