A file that has the “DAA” extension is a disc image file created by the PowerISO software program. A DAA disc image is used to compress the entire contents of a disc into one smaller file that can be more easily transferred between different computers. The DAA file may contain one file or multiple files and they can be of any file type, from executable program files to simple web graphics. In order to run a DAA file you will need to first extract it by using the PowerISO program. Download the PowerISO program (see Resources) and then follow the installation instructions that will appear on the screen. Open up the PowerISO program once the installation process has finished running. Find the “Add” button located on the tool bar at the top of the program’s window. Click on the button and then click on the “Add File” option from the drop-down menu that will appear on the screen.
