How Do You Roller Wrap Hair Without Setting Lotion?
If curly hair has always been your favorite style, but you don’t like the smell of the setting lotion, you can still have your most favored style without using setting lotion–or any other product–at all. People have been curling their hair long before gels and mousses were invented. A few tips will help you roller wrap hair without setting lotion with results that are just as dashing. Wash hair. Hair that is clean will best hold a curl. Towel dry the hair, but keep it damp. Comb. Take a comb through your hair to get out any tangles, snarls and make it sleek and smooth. Separate your hair into sections, depending on where you want the curls to be. Set each section. Take a roller to each section of hair, sliding it down to the ends. Don’t let any ends bend or the edges of your curls will end up with kinks. Each section of hair should be no wider than the roller and as thick or thin as you wish. The thinner the section, the tighter the curl will be. Use thick sections for subtle waves.
