Pork roast makes an excellent family dinner at a reasonable price. When cooked properly the meat will be moist, tender and sweet. Pork loin is a favorite for roasting because of its relatively quick cooking time, and it can be easily stuffed with apples or figs for a little extra flair. Tenderloin can also be roasted in a covered pan and will generally take less than an hour to cook, although it won’t yield as much meat as a full pork loin. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
