How Do You Roast Corn On The Cob?
Corn on the cob goes hand in hand with a summertime barbeque! It is so sweet and buttery, and is fun to eat as well. So how do you roast it to perfection? Well, that is actually pretty easy to do. When roasting corn on the cob, you’ll want to start by removing the silky strands. These are easily removed by pulling the husks down (NOT OFF), and then grabbing the silks and pulling them off. Next, wrap the corn back up with the attached husks, and soak them in a bowl of water for at least 30 minutes (preferably an hour if possible). The soaking helps keep the corn husks from burning while roasting. After soaking the corn on the cob, pull the husks down again, and smear butter all over the corn. Then rewrap the corn with the husks and place them onto the grill. Roast the corn on the grill for 15-20 minutes turning often. Once roasted, carefully remove the husks (watch out, it will be very hot), sprinkle with a little salt, and they are ready to enjoy!
